The vineyard is located north of the town of Saint-Émilion in the area of the same name (Bordeaux). It is classified as a Grand Cru Classé, which was last confirmed in 2012. The estate has been owned by Alain Moueix from the family empire of the same name since 2001. The vineyards cover five hectares and are 100% planted with Merlot. The vineyards are cultivated according to biodynamic rules. The long-lasting red wine is matured for up to 18 months in 50% new barriques.
