Producer description of "Château La Couspaude"

The winery is located northeast of the town of in the area of the same name (Bordeaux). The estate is owned by the Aubert family and is managed by Alain Aubert. The estate is classified as "Grand Cru Classé", which was last confirmed in 2012. The vineyards cover seven hectares and are planted with Merlot (60%), Cabernet Franc (20%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (20%). The long-lasting red wine is matured in 80% new barriques.
