The winery is located in the commune of Pomerol in the area of the same name (Bordeaux). It is owned by the Chasseuil family. The Moueix family empire managed the estate and marketed the wines from 1966 to 1999. However, after a long legal dispute, the owner family in the person of Jeremy Chasseuil took control again from the 2000 vintage onwards. The vineyards cover 6.5 hectares and are planted with Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). Some of the vines are over 70 years old. The long-lasting red wine is matured in barriques for 18 months.
