The winery is located in the town of Saint-Émilion in the area of the same name (Bordeaux). In 1971, the estate was bought by Mrs. Dauriac, today it is run by her son Christian Dauriac, a trained biologist. Since 1996 the family also owns the Château La Clémence in Pomerol. The farm is classified as "Grand Cru Classé", which was last confirmed in 2012. The winery is a customer of the well-known oenologist Michel Rolland (*1947). The vineyards cover eight hectares of vines, planted with Merlot (66%), Cabernet Franc (17%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (17%). The long-lasting red wine matures for 15 to 24 months in 100% new barriques.
