The winery is located in the town of Saint-Émilion in the area of the same name (Bordeaux). The estate was bought by Mrs Dauriac in 1971 and is now run by her son Christian Dauriac, a trained biologist. The family has also owned Château La Clémence in Pomerol since 1996. The estate is classified as a Grand Cru Classé, which was last confirmed in 2012. The estate is a client of the well-known oenologist Michel Rolland (*1947). The vineyards cover eight hectares and are planted with Merlot (66%), Cabernet Franc (17%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (17%). The long-lasting red wine matures for 15 to 24 months in 100% new barriques.

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
