Château de la Dauphine

The winery is located to the west of the municipality of Fronsac (Bordeaux) in the appellation of the same name. In 2000, it was sold by Moueix (together with Château Canon de Brem and Château La Croix Canon) to Domaines Jean Halley. However, Moueix is still involved and responsible for the business. The vineyards, which cover 15 hectares, are planted with Merlot (95%) and Cabernet Franc (5%). The long-lasting red wine is matured in 20% new barriques.
