The winery is located in Saint-Émilion(Bordeaux) in the area of the same name. Owned by the Cordier company since 1964, the estate was sold to Gérard Frydman in 2001, who sold it to Bernard Decoster just three years later. It is now run by his son Thibaut Decoster, who engaged the oenologist Michel Rolland as a consultant. The estate is classified as a Grand Cru Classé, which was last confirmed in 2012. The vineyards cover nine hectares of vines with Merlot (70%), Cabernet Franc (28%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (8%). The Clos indicates an enclosure with walls. The long-lasting red wine is matured for up to 18 months in 100% new barriques. The second wine is called "Prieur des Jacobins".
