The white grape variety is a new variety between Coarnă Alba (Pukhliakovsky) x Chasselas, which was confirmed by DNA analyses carried out in 2013. Synonyms are Chasselas Bocche del Rodano, Chasselas delle Bocche del Rodano and Chasselas Rose Bouches Rhône. The cross was made in France by the breeder Antoine Besson. It is mainly used as table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
The glossary is a monumental achievement and one of the most important contributions to wine knowledge. Of all the encyclopaedias I use on the subject of wine, it is by far the most important. That was the case ten years ago and it hasn't changed since.
