Commune in the French region of Côte de Nuits in Burgundy. In the 19th century (like many other municipalities), the name of the best location was added to the former name of Chambolle - and that is Musigny. The vineyards cover around 150 hectares of vines on chalk and clay soils. Under the village appellation of the same name, red wines are made from Pinot Noir with small proportions of Pinot Gris and Pinot Liébault.

There are two Grand Cru sitesBonnes-Mares with 13.5 hectares (a small part of which is located in the municipality of Morey-Saint-Denis) and Musigny with 9.3 hectares. The 24 Premier Cru sites cover a total of 60 hectares of vines. These are Aux Beaux Bruns, Aux Combottes, Aux Echanges, Derrière la Grange, La Combe d'Orveau, Les Amoureuses (5.4 ha - outstanding), Les Batudes (3.4 ha), Les Borniques, Les Carrières, Les Chabiots, Les Charmes (9,5 ha), Les Chatelots, Les Combottes, Les Cras, Les Feusselottes (4.5 ha), Les Fuées (4.4 ha), Les Groseilles, Les Gruenchers, Les Hauts Doix, Les Lavrottes, Les Noirots, Les Plantes, Les Sentiers (4.9 ha) and Les Véroilles.

If I were to rate websites, you would deserve the highest rating. It is rare to come across websites that provide such a large amount of data and are still so intuitive to use. Respect for the lovingly researched and informatively prepared encyclopedia. Keep it up!
