The white grape variety is a new breeding between Gold x (Emperor x Pirovano 75) F2. Synonyms are Centenial Seedless, Davis 31-123 F, Francesa, Hobrevt, Hobrevet, Nebi Grape, Sonja and Wuhe Baijixin. The cross was made in 1980 in the USA by the breeder Dr. Harold P. Olmo (1909-2006) at the California Agricultural Experiment Station. The olive-shaped berries of the seedless vine have a muscat tone. It is used as table grape and for the production of sultanas. It is grown in tiny quantities in Spain around the city of Valencia. In 2016, 0.1 hectares of vineyards were designated there (Kym Anderson statistics). There is also a new variety with different parents called Centennial.
