Cellar section

A term commonly used in Austria (also called "Kellerstunde") for a meeting of like-minded people in a traditional wine cellar in a cellar lane that is often outside the thread. A lot is a group of mostly men. This was mainly used by the winegrowers and their friends as a place to stay and retreat for the purpose of exchanging ideas about everything and anything, with wine enjoyment being obligatory. The duration was usually many times longer than one hour. See also under customs in viticulture.
