Cell

Smallest unit of all living organisms that can possess all the properties of life. Single-celled organisms with a diameter of only 0.001 to 0.1 millimetres are for example bacteria and yeasts. Viruses no longer have all the properties required to reproduce, but need host cells to change and destroy them. All higher organisms, like the vine, are made up of billions of cells.
