The winery is located in the municipality of Enkirch (Bernkastel area) in the German wine-growing region of Mosel. The traditional family has been growing grapes for over 500 years. The winery is run by Nico Caspari and Uwe Jostock. The vineyards cover eleven hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Ellergrub, Monteneubel, Steffensberg and Zeppwingert (Enkirch), as well as Gaispfad (Traben). They are planted with Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir. The Rieslings are vinified dry, off-dry and fruity-sweet. Bottle-fermented sparkling wine and secco (sparkling wine) are also produced.
