The winery is located in the municipality of Andora (province of Savona) in the Italian region of Liguria. The farm is managed by Massimo Viglietti. The vineyards cover eight hectares of vineyards planted with the red wine varieties Barbarossa, Granaccia(Garnacha Tinta), Rossese di Dolceacqua(Tibouren) and Shiraz, and the white wine varieties Lumassina and Pigato(Vermentino). An environmentally friendly viticulture with restrictive parameters is practised. Some of the wines are produced by spontaneous fermentation using autochthonous yeasts; for the others, selected basic yeasts are used that have not been genetically modified. Since 2004, a collaboration with the University of Milan has been underway to introduce/re-introduce old autochthonous red wine varieties into local wine production. DOC wines Riviera Ligure di Ponente (Granaccia, Pigato, Rossese, Vermentino), IGT wines from Granaccia, Rosé from Barbarossa and Frizzante from Lumassina are produced.
