The winery is located in Las Condes, a district of Santiago in Chile. It was founded in 1850 by Christian Lanz and named after his wife. Since 1987 it belongs to the Multi Santa Rita, but works independently under the management of Alvaro Espinoza. The vineyards cover over 500 hectares of vineyards in the areas of Casablanca and Leyda (Aconcagua), Colchagua (Rapel) and Maipo. Under the label "Nativa" organic (organic) viticulture is carried out on about 50 hectares of vineyards. The red wine varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Carmenère, Merlot, Petite Sirah(Durif), Pinot Noir, Syrah and Sangiovese, as well as the white wine varieties Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, Gewürztraminer and Viognier are cultivated. The large product range is marketed in the six lines Gold, Wine Maker's, Gran Reserva, Reserva, Wave Series and Classic.
