Cardboard taste

Synonym for the wine error filter taste; see there.

Filter flavour

Term for an unpleasant wine defect that develops relatively easily and is also described as a paper, cardboard or carton flavour. This impression is often combined with the adjective "wet" or "moist". It is usually caused by improper storage of filter aids used for filtration.
