DOC area for red and white wines in the Italian region of Campania. The zone includes the island of Capri (Isola di Capri), which belongs to the province of Naples and is located off the Sorrento peninsula. The vineyards are planted on calcareous soil on terraced slopes that slope down to the sea. The Bianco is blended from Falanghina (50%) and Greco Bianco (together 80%), as well as Biancolella (max. 20%). The Rosso is produced from Piedirosso (80%) and, if necessary, other authorised varieties (max. 20%).
