The "Cellers Capafons-Ossó" winery is located in the municipality of Falset in the province of Tarragona in the Spanish region of Catalonia. It was founded in 1992. The vineyards cover 17.5 hectares of vineyards in two DO areas with two estates. The "Masia Esplanes" estate in the Montsant area is located in the Falset valley, where the vines are influenced by the humid southwest wind "Garbinada", which has a cooling effect. Here the wines Roigenc (a rosé from Syrah), Vessants (Merlot, Grenache, Cabernet-Sauvignon) and Masia Esplanes (Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot, Grenache, Syrah) are produced. The "Mas de Masos" estate in the Priorato area is made up of numerous small plots of land located in two south-facing valleys. These vineyards are partially integrated with wooded areas that regulate the ambient temperatures, creating a unique microclimate. The older vines are between 60 and over 100 years old. The wines Mas de Masos (Grenache, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Cariñena), Masos d'en Cubells (Grenache, Cariñena, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah) and Enllaç (Viognier, Grenache Blanc) are produced here. The four red wines are aged in barriques for at least 12 months, the white wine 6 months.
