This white grape variety (also known as Kanela) originates from Argentina. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2017, it is a presumably natural cross between Listán Prieto x Muscat Blanc. It is used as a wine grape and table grape. The variety is grown in small quantities in the Argentinean areas of Guaymallén, Mendoza and San Rafael. In 2016, three hectares of vines were designated (Kym Anderson statistics).
