Candin

The white grape variety is an interspecific new cross between 7489 INRA Bordeaux (Hybride Blanc) x Muscat d'Hamburg. The hybrid was crossed in 1981 on behalf of INRA at the Domaine de Vassal. The early-maturing vine is not particularly susceptible to vine diseases. No stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
