The winery started the rise of viticulture on the Greek island of Kefallonia by bottling the wines. In the 1990s it was taken over by Kourtakis. Wines are made from the autochthonous varieties Robola, Tsaoussi and Thyniatiko (Mavrodaphne). A sweet dessert wine is Amando made from the Moschato Aspro (Muscat Blanc) variety.
As honorary chairman of the Domäne Wachau, it is the easiest and quickest way for me to access the wein.plus encyclopaedia when I have questions. The certainty of receiving well-founded and up-to-date information here makes it an indispensable guide.
