There are two different grape varieties with this name:
The white grape variety is a new cross between Braghina (Bagrina) x Sultanina (Sultana). The cross was made in Romania by the breeder Mircea Marculescu. It has pink berries. The variety is used as table grape and for sultanas. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
This white grape variety is a new cross between Palomino x Macabeo 5 (Macabeo). The crossing took place in Spain. The variety is used as a wine grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Statistics Kym Anderson).
The glossary is a monumental achievement and one of the most important contributions to wine knowledge. Of all the encyclopaedias I use on the subject of wine, it is by far the most important. That was the case ten years ago and it hasn't changed since.
