Calabrisi Bianco

The white grape variety originates from Italy. Synonyms are Alba de Calabria, Blanc de Calabre, Calabrais Blanc, Calabre, Calabre Blanc, Calabrese, Calabrese Bianca, Calabreser, Calabreser Grape, Calabrisi Bianca, Féher Calabriai, Raisin de Calabre, Kalabreser, Moschato di Calabria, Muscat de Calabre, Uva di Calabria, White Calabreser/Kalabreser. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2021, it is a presumably natural cross between Bicane x Muscat Blanc. However, this is based on only 20 DNA markers (see molecular genetics). The variety is suitable for wine press and table grape. It was a crossing partner of the new variety Reichensteiner. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
