The red grape variety (also UD-32.078) is an interspecific new variety between Cabernet Sauvignon x Bianca. It contains genes from Vitis berlandieri, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in Italy in 2002 by Simone Diego Castellarin, Guido Cipriani and Gabriele Di Gaspero. The medium maturing vine is resistant to both types of mildew. In 2016 no stock was reported (statistics Kym Anderson).
