Cabernet Lion

The red grape variety is a new breed from Japan between Koshu Sanjaku x Cabernet Sauvignon. A confusing synonym is Cabernet Suntory; in fact, there is also an independent variety of this name. It is suitable as a wine grape and table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
