The "Winzerhof Burrlein" is located in the community of Mainstockheim (area Maindreieck) in the German wine growing region of Franconia. It was founded in 1904, today it is managed by Frieder Burrlein. The vineyards comprise 32 hectares of vineyards in the Mainstockheimer Hofstück location. Five hectares of it are self-managed, grapes are purchased from 35 winegrowers with a total of 27 hectares. 3.5 hectares of our own vineyards are cultivated according to controlled ecological guidelines. The white wine varieties Silvaner, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Müller-Thurgau, Bacchus, Kerner and Scheurebe as well as the red wine varieties Domina, Dornfelder, Regent and Zweigelt are processed. The wines are marketed in four lines. These are the Frank & Frei Collection, wines from ecological cultivation, Franconian classics, and the top line Schlossportal. The white wines are fermented and aged in stainless steel. The red wines mature after maceration in large wooden barrels and partly in barriques. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced. The winery is a member of the Frank & Frei wine growers' association.
