Regional appellation in Burgundy (France) for red, rosé and white wines. It is a six-hectare site(Lieu-dit or Climat) in the municipality of Chenôve, a suburb of Dijon, in the south of the Cote d'Or department. The red and rosé wines are made from Pinot Noir and Pinot Beurot(Pinot Gris), the white wines from Chardonnay. See also under Bourgogne and Burgundy Classification.
There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
