Regional appellation in Burgundy for red, rosé and white wines. The vineyards cover 200 hectares of vineyards in the seven communes of Augy, Auxerre, Champs-sur-Yonne, Lottes, Quenne, Saint-Bris-le-Vineux and Vaux in the north-west of the Yonne department. The red and rosé wines are made from Pinot Noir, the white wines from Chardonnay. See also under Bourgogne and Burgundy Classification.
