The winery is located in the municipality of Worms-Pfeddersheim (Wonnegau area) in the German wine-growing region of Rheinhessen. It was founded in 1960 by Wolfgang Pfannebecker and taken over by Holker and Margit Pfannebecker in 1979. The farm became known as the "Burgunderhof".
