Bruderthal

One of the Alsace (Bas-Rhin) sites classified as Grand Cru within the Alsace Grand Cru appellation. It once belonged to the Cistercians who gave it its name. The vineyards cover 18 hectares of vineyards on calcareous clay soil in the municipality of Molsheim. They are mainly planted with Riesling and Gewürztraminer, but also Pinot Gris and Muscat Blanc. Well-known producers are Philippe Heitz, Kumpf et Meyer, Gérard Neumeyer and Domaine Bernard Weber.
