The white grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Diana Hamburg x Concord. Synonyms are Royal Rose and Trask. It contains genes from Vitis labrusca and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed i1870 in the USA by the breeder Jacob Moore. It was a crossing partner in the new varieties Brocton and Ruby (1). It is an all-female grape variety. It is cultivated in the USA and Canada and used as a wine grape and table grape. The wines have a foxtone. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
In the past, you needed a wealth of encyclopaedias and specialist literature to keep up to date in your vinophile professional life. Today, Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one of my best helpers and can rightly be called the "bible of wine knowledge".
