single vineyard in the municipality of Wiltingen (Saar area) in the German Moselle wine-growing region. It should not be confused with the neighbouring Wiltinger Kupp. The vineyard, which faces south-southwest to south-southeast at an altitude of 160 to 260 metres above sea level with a slope of 50 to 60%, covers four hectares of vineyards. Only the Riesling variety is cultivated on deep slate weathered soil with a high skeletal content and clayey fine soil. The site is solely owned by the Egon Müller-Scharzhof winery.
Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
