The winery is located in the municipality of Fahr am Main (Maindreieck area) in the German wine-growing region of Franconia. It has been run by Thomas and Heike Braun since 1988. A guest house and a "Häckerstube" are attached. The vineyards cover 17 hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Glatzen (Neuses am Berg), Landsknecht (Obervolkach), Vögelein (Nordheim), Rosenberg (Sommerach), Lump (Escherndorf), Höll (Obereisenheim), Eselsberg (Stammheim), and Ratsherr (Volkach). They are planted with the white wine varieties Silvaner, Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, Kerner, Bacchus, Scheurebe, Traminer, Gelber Muskatteller, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Merlot, Domina and Schwarzriesling. The vineyards are cultivated in a near-natural way. Around 150,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines, sparkling wines, noble brandies (yeast, marc, grapes, fruit), liqueurs, vinegar, sparkling wine jelly and wine j elly are also produced. The winery is a member of the Fränkischer Weinbauverband and Fränkisches Gewächs.
