Bratenhöfchen

single vineyard in the municipality of Bernkastel (Bernkastel area) in the German Mosel wine-growing region. There is a sub-vineyard called Pfalzgraben. The south-west facing vineyards with a slope of 15 to 55% cover around 18 hectares of vines on medium-textured, stony and partly clayey, weathered slate soils. The wineries Dr Pauly-Bergweiler, Geheimrat J. Wegeler Erben, Kerpen and S. A. Prüm, for example, have shares in the site.
