Bouysselet

The white grape variety comes from France. Synonyms are Bouysselet de Fronton and Prunelard Blanc. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2013, it is probably a natural cross between the Plant de Cauzette x Savagnin(Traminer) varieties. However, this is based on only 20 DNA markers (see molecular genetics). Nothing is known about possible relationships to the red variety Prunelard or the white variety Arrufiac (Bouisselet). In 2016 no stock was reported (statistics Kym Anderson).
