Bouteille écusson

French term for a wine bottle with an embossing in the glass (écusson = badge or coat of arms). For example, the bottle of the famous Château Haut-Brion (Graves) vineyard, classified as a Premier Cru in 1855, has such an embossing under the neck of the bottle. See below for more examples.
