Regional appellation in Burgundy within the Côte Chalonnaise area for red wines. The vineyards cover six hectares of vines in the six communes of Couches, Dracy-lès-Couches, Saint-Jean-de-Trézy, Saint-Maurice-lès-Couches, Saint-Pierre-de-Varennes and Saint-Sernin-du-Plain in the department of Saône-et-Loire.
