The winery is located in the municipality of Mainz-Kostheim in the German wine-growing region of Rheingau. The winery is run by Michael and Gabriele Bott. The vineyards cover three hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Reichestal (Hochheim) and St. Kiliansberg (Kostheim). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling and Pinot Gris, as well as with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir and Merlot. The vineyards are consistently cultivated in a natural, environmentally friendly way. Quality criteria are low yields from old vines and selective harvesting of almost overripe grapes. Bottle-fermented sparkling wine is also produced.
