single vineyard in the municipality of Guntersblum ( Nierstein area) in the German wine-growing region of Rheinhessen. The wind-protected vineyards, which face east to south and have slopes of 5 to 15%, cover 49 hectares of vineyards. The soils consist of loess with sandy and partly stony loam. The varieties cultivated here include Riesling, Silvaner, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir. The Domhof Baumann, Evangelical Church of Hesse and Nassau, Hiestand Erich and Rappenhof wineries, for example, have shares in the site.
