The winery is located in the city of Logroño in the Spanish Rioja sub-region Rioja Alta; the river Ebro separates the bodega from the old town. It was founded in 1890. Today it is owned by Marcos Eguizábal Ramirez, who also owns the Paternina winery. The vineyards cover only 50 hectares of vines, and grapes are purchased in large quantities. With regard to food protection, the international principles of HACCP are fulfilled. There are 15,000 barrique barrels available. The wide range of Rioja wines includes, for example the red wines Barón d'Anglade (Tempranillo, Graciano, Mazuelo), Bordón (Tempranillo, Garnacha), Excelso (Tempranillo, Graciano, Mazuelo), Royal (Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano, Mazuelo) and Royal Claret (Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo); the Bordón Rosado (Garnacha, Viura); and the white wines Bordón Blanco (Viura), Diamante (Viura, Malvasía), Rinsal (Viura) and Vina Soledad Joven Blanco (Viura).
