The white grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Severny x Muscat Blanc. In the breeding list, however, a pollen mixture of Muscat Blanc, Muscat Fleur d'Oranger and Muscat d'Alexandrie was erroneously given as the father population. Synonyms are Cvetochnyi, Cvetocnyj, Cvetotschnyi, Cvetocsnuej, Cvetotschnyi and Jutrzenka. It contains genes from Vitis amurensis and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in Russia in 1947 by Ya. I. Potapenko ( Vidvizhenets was also created with the same parents). In Austria, it was trialled from 1998 at the Götzhof experimental estate of the Klosterneuburger Weinbauinstitut and released as a quality wine grape variety in 2018.
