Producer description of "Weingut Michael Blendel"
The winery is located in the community of Escherndorf in the German wine-growing region of Franconia. The Blendel family has been growing wine for ten generations. The vineyards, with up to 70% slope inclination, comprise almost six hectares of vineyard area. They are planted with the white varieties Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner, Riesling, Bacchus, Scheurebe, Kerner and Traminer, as well as the red varieties Spätburgunder, Regent, Domina and Dornfelder. The winery is a member of the "Der Franke" winegrowers' association consisting of nine vineyards in the Maindreieck area.
