DOC area for red wine, rosé wine and white wine in the Italian region of Molise The zone named after the river of the same name comprises a total of 42 municipalities in the province of Campobasso. The Bianco is made from Trebbiano Toscano (70-80%) and other authorised varieties (max. 20-30%). Rosso (also known as Superiore and Riserva) and Rosato are produced from Montepulciano (70-80%) and Aglianico (10-20%), and possibly other authorised varieties (max. 20%).
