Biancame

The white grape variety originates from Italy. The VIVC catalogue lists many varieties that contain "Biancame" either as a synonym or as part of the name in the main name or in the synonym. Biancame della Forcella, Biancame Maschio and Biancame Nostrano are named as independent varieties that are genetically different. However, no synonyms are given for any of the three. In the DOC regulations, however, only the name Biancame is given.

Biancame - Weintraube und Blatt

In the Italian grape variety catalogue M.I.P.A.A.F of the Ministero dell'agricoltura, only one variety is listed under the name Biancame. The synonyms Balsamina Bianca, Bianchello, Biancone, Biancuccio, Greco, Greco Bianco, Morbidella and Trebbiano are given for this variety. Some of these are independent or synonyms of other grape varieties.
