The winery is located in the municipality of Wolfsheim ( Bingen area) in the German wine-growing region of Rheinhessen. The family business was handed over from Max and Marliese Bernhard to son Jörg Bernhard in 1995, who has been running it together with daughter Martina since 2015. The vineyards cover 25 hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Osterberg and Sankt Katrhin (Wolfsheim), Geyersberg (Sankt Johann) and Sonnenberg (Vendersheim). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling, Silvaner, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Rivaner (Müller-Thurgau), Gewürztraminer, Bacchus and Scheurebe, as well as with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, St. Laurent and Dornfelder. From the 2020 vintage onwards, certified organic viticulture will be practised according to the guidelines of the organic association ECOVIN.
