The winery is located in the municipality of Graach (Bernkastel area) in the German Moselle wine region. A guesthouse and an ostrich farm operated from July to November are attached. The family business is managed by Josef Bernard. The vineyards cover 3.2 hectares of vineyards in the steep slopes of Burgberg (Lösnich), as well as Domprobst and Himmelreich (Graach). They are mainly planted with Riesling, as well as the varieties Müller-Thurgau and Spätburgunder. The vineyard is consistently cultivated in an environmentally friendly manner. The selective manual harvest is carried out in several rounds. The wines are vinified using a combination of traditional and modern cellar technology. The aim is to produce fruity wines through gentle processing of the grapes and slow, controlled fermentation. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines, noble brandies(marc), liqueurs, grape seed oil and wine jelly are also produced.
