Bermestia Bianca

The white grape variety originates from Italy. Synonyms are Apesorgia, Balmesta Bianca, Belmestia, Bermestia Bianca del Piemonte, Bramestone Bianco, Bromesto, Brumesta, Laxissima, Pomestra Bianca, Poumestra Bianca di Favara and Siriiskii Belyi. It is an all-female grape variety. The parentage (parentage) is unknown. Pierre Galet 's (1921-2019) assumption that it is a mutation of the Prunesta variety has been disproved by DNA analyses. According to DNA analyses, it is a parent of the varieties Dorona di Venezia and Luglienga Bianca. Bermestia Bianca is grown in Emilia-Romagna and used there as table grape and wine grape. However, no stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
