Belokranjec

White wine cuvée from Slovenia with the quality wine class PTP defined at the beginning of 2008 from the Bela Krajina wine region in the Posavje wine region. The name means "White Krainer". It is mainly blended from the two varieties Laski Rizling (Welschriesling, 30 to 50%) and Kraljevina (Red Portuguese, 20 to 40%). For the remaining 5 to 10%, a maximum of two varieties of Beli Pinot (Pinot Blanc), Chardonnay, Renski Rizling (Rhine Riesling), Rumeni Muscat (Yellow Muscat), Sauvignon Blanc, Zeleni Silvanec (Silvaner) and Zlahtnina (Chasselas) may be used. The dry matured wine must have a maximum of 3 g/l residual sugar, as well as 5.5 to 7.0 g/l acidity and at least 18 g/l sugar-free extract. The prescribed alcohol content is 10.5 to 11.5% vol.
