The "Bayer Erbhof Winery" is located in the municipality of Donnerskirchen in the Leithaberg wine-growing region of Burgenland (Austria). The history of the traditional house dates back to 1741. Historical testimonies are a tree press from 1838, a wooden barrel cellar from 1846 and a red wine barrel from 1887. A guest house is attached. The farm is run by Josef and Andrea Bayer. The vineyards cover almost 19 hectares of vineyards in, for example, the Hofsatz and Kapellenjoch vineyards on the southern foothills of the Leitha Mountains. They are 60% planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Muskat Ottonel, and 40% with the red wine varieties Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon.
