Bastartiko

The white grape variety comes from Cyprus. The parentage (parenthood) is unknown. The almost extinct variety was rediscovered by the Cypriot oenologist Akis Zambartas. The vine is probably a clone of the Promara variety. It is used as a wine press and table grape. In 2016 no stock was recorded (statistics Kym Anderson).
