Bastartiko

The white grape variety originates from Cyprus. The parentage is unknown. The almost extinct variety was rediscovered by the Cypriot oenologist Akis Zambartas. The vine is probably a clone of the Promara variety. It is used as a wine grape and table grape. No stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
