The "Wein- und Sektgut Barth" is located in the municipality of Hattenheim in the German wine-growing region of Rheingau. It was founded in 1948 by Johann Barth. Sparkling wine production began under his son Norbert Barth in 1978. Today, the business is run by Mark and Christine Barth. Dennis Serbes is the cellar master.

The vineyards cover 23 hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Lenchen (Oestrich), Hendelberg and Schönhell (Hallgarten), as well as Hassel, Schützenhaus and Wisselbrunnen (Hattenheim). They are mainly planted with Riesling (around 70%), as well as Pinot Blanc, Scheurebe, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyards are cultivated by hand in accordance with certified organic viticulture rules.
